Join the Coffee Party!

Dear Lucy,
The Tea Party scares me. I mean, Sarah Palin? Give me a break!
I found this through Facebook and it looks interesting.

COFFEE PARTY MISSION STATEMENT: The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to
Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the
federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our
collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order
to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots
volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold
accountable those who obstruct them.

  2. I wrote a letter to the editor which was printed today in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin about their recent decision to put "In God We Trust" around the city of Ontario seal in the city council chambers. I'm now starting a letter writing compaign to make sure they are aware of my sentiments.

I am starting with a defination of "dominionism" which is a doctrine which demands the total remaking of society to conform with the laws of the Old Testament of the Bible, and it states that the second coming of Jesus Christ will never occur until "God's Kingdome" is established on earth... It contends that all the laws of the Old Testament, unless specifally revoked later in the Bible, are still valid and they want to replace the U.S. Constitution and legal system with the Ten Commandments and the Mosaic laws of the Bible.

Every time the Ten Commandments or In God We Trust is posted on a public wall, they take one more step closer to their stated goal.

    Be fearfull indeed.
